Whee!
Look what Wii got yesterday! Target opened at 8:00 with a new batch, and at 8:15 we grabbed the last one in stock.

I reccomend Wii Play as a great way to get another wii-mote.
The games in Wii Play are enjoyable. Tanks will require a nunchuck, but I haven't gotten better than a bronze medal in that, it's not my favorite. Cow racing, and tipping over scarecrows is the easiest to master.
The Mii game that has you identifying mii's based on certain criteria will have you wishing/making more miis for variety.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is one of the best games, but it is long (40 hours) and it is an action/rpg--not for everyone. But my 8 year old loves it.
Rayman Raving Rabbids was fun for about 15 minutes--all we go to play--so I can't vouch for the whole game.
Don't forget to go to your local video game store and see if they have a used copy.
