Library Job RSS Feeds

Thanks to those of you who sent in suggestions of library job sites with related RSS feeds. I've put a page up on LISjobs.com listing those I'm aware of; please do continue sending in suggestions for any additions. You can also download the associated OPML file for easy import into your newsreader of choice. Enjoy!

ETA: if you imported the OPML file earlier this afternoon, you might want to redo it, or manually add in LISjobs.com -- apparently the online OPML generator I used skipped right over the feeds with an .asp extension.

Comments:
You forgot, or I couldn't find, the combined LISJobs listing via RSS.

RSS feed available! View new job listings directly in your aggregator.

Probably my favorite link on the site :)..
Best,
DrWeb

Nice one.

Looks like you could find more library job listings with this tool.

Thanks, drweb -- it looks like the free OPML file generator I used didn't include it because it has an .asp extension, and missed a couple others as well. Grr.

I've manually added them into the xml file and it looks like it's working now.

This is a very handy resource, but for any library or system that uses a regularly updated page, but does not offer an RSS feed for it, you can create your own feed using http://www.ponyfish.com.

Jon, thanks for the suggestion, I'll check it out! I'm not sure, though, how well it would work for sites whose job listings are inside a database?
