Got a Brand New Bag
This is how I know I'm a techie poser: I sometimes get more excited about the accessories and accoutrements surrounding technology than by the technology itself -- especially those that let me feel more organized than I actually am.
So, I must have spent an hour last night checking out all the little pockets and hidey-holes in my new "vertical multitasker" (aka laptop backpack). (If you covet it as I did, use code DADGRAD06 before June 19 for $15 off a purchase of $75 or more...) Since my old oversized satchel caused shoulder problems every time I carried it through an airport, I can't wait to travel with my brand new bag.

Cool bag!! I wish they made them just a weensy bit bigger. One of the reviewers' laptops didn't fit and I fear I'm in the same boat.
Mine JUST fits (Dell Inspiron 600m, if that helps :)) -- if it were an inch longer, it would stick out the top. I figured it was worth the risk, since Shoebuy.com does free postage-paid returns.
Is there much strech in the computer compartment. I am worried about mine being too thick. I think this would be great for a conference I am going to, but I am worried that it won't fit in. I am good otherwise, the measurments say it will fit 12.9"x 11"x 1.45". Mine is fine except it is 1.8" thick. Do you think it will fit?
Hmm, they should pay me to market this thing! :) My laptop is at least 1.5" thick and fits with plenty of room to spare.
Go for it. Hit them yup for a kickback. Your review was enough to get me to buy it. I hope it is here before I leave for ALA.
