A number of institutions, schools, associations, journals, and organizations maintain job banks and email lists that include library-related postings across the U.S. If you have suggestions for additional resources which would be appropriate, please email rachel@LISjobs.com. Fewer journals now maintain online job postings; others have merged. (The ads from American Libraries and C&RL News, for instance, are now on ALA's JobLIST -- find more under Associations.) Journal job banks and job-related twitterers are below; find other nationwide job postings in the menu at right.
Journals
- Library Journal's "Job Zone."
- The Chronicle of Higher Education lists pertinent ads under libraries, library/information sciences, and library administration -- also subscribe to their RSS feed. These are of course basically positions in college and research libraries.
- Follow LibInfoSciJobs for general postings.
- Libgig_Jobs appears to repost jobs from Libgig.com.
- Follow GetArchivisJobs for archivist postings.
