The Boston Public Library is accepting applications for the Chief Financial Officer position. The BPL's Chief Financial Officer provides leadership, planning, oversight, and administration to all business and financial functions of the BPL as a department of the City of Boston and as a private non-profit corporation. The CFO is the Director of the Finance Division consisting of the Accounting Department and the Business Office. As Division Director, the CFO actively participates in the overall leadership of the BPL including implementation of BPL's Compass Principles for Excellence and the strategic plan.
Salary: $83,114 - $112,206, DOQ. Competitive benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Finance, Business, Public Administration/Policy, or related field; or Bachelor's degree with a combination of experience, education and training.
Minimum of seven years' experience in the management and administration of the business and financial operations of a large organization, or other combination of administrative experience. Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial module or equivalent financial management system.
