Maintain
library collections of books, serial publications, documents, multimedia, and
other materials, and assist groups and individuals in locating and obtaining
materials by performing the following duties:

• Furnish
       information on library activities, facilities, rules, and services


• Describe or
       demonstrates procedures for navigating the public access catalog or
       electronic resources, such as CD-ROM databases


• Search files,
       reference shelves, and computerized information systems to locate
       requested information


• Order issues and
       receives materials for circulation or for use in library, and supervises
       preparation of received materials


• Assemble,
       arrange, and maintain reference and circulation materials


• Answer
       correspondence on special reference subjects


• Prepare or
       assists in preparation of budget and financial reports


• Investigate
       technologies that will improve service

Required

Required
Experience

• Master's degree
       in Library Science. Master of Library Science (MLS) or Masters of Library
       and Information Science (MLIS) degree preferred; ALA accredited program
       preferred.


• One (1) to three
       (3) years of library experience required or equivalent combination of
       education and experience ; academic library experience a plus.


• Experience with
       American Library Association higher education standards and
       national/regional accreditation standards a plus.


• Part-Time.
       Flexible schedule. Must be available anywhere between the hours of 8AM and
       9:30PM, Mon-Thurs and 8AM-4:30PM Fridays.
