The Boca Raton campus of Everglades University is looking for a full-time Campus Librarian.

The Campus Librarian reports to the Director of Library Services and the Boca Raton Campus Dean and is responsible for the following duties and functions: provides reference services; keeps accurate statistics; works cooperatively with faculty, developing and maintaining the collection of resources in all media, including selection and organization; instructs groups, classes and individuals in library use and research; develops instructional goals and objectives, evaluating outcomes against those objectives; proctors examinations and evaluations; serves as a liaison to selected instructional programs; promotes library/media services to the university community through effective materials and programs, using both new and traditional communications media; participates in the planning and development of the library and media services; participates in the governance and curricular life of the university.

The Campus Librarian will work closely with other Campus Librarians in order to provide the highest level of service to all Everglades University students.

This full-time position requires some regular evening hours, and some Saturdays as scheduled.

A Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited university is required.

Desired qualifications: A demonstrated service commitment and experience with diverse educational, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment.
