Position Title: XML Analyst Position Description: DataStream Content Solutions is undertaking a project to convert a large, varied set of data to a standard XML model. We are looking for contractors to support the following tasks associated with requirements writing and data modeling: • Understand a standard XML structure. • Perform analysis of various content types. • Create mapping from various content types to the standard XML structure, working with larger team to identify elements to be added to standard structure as needed. • For each content type, author conversion requirements document, identify sample input data, and create sample target XML data. • Test data conversions and troubleshoot converted XML data. You will be working as part of a larger team, so collaboration with other members of the team is crucial. MLS or MA with technical emphasis strongly preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Telecommuting is possible for the right candidate(s).
