Middle School Librarian


The Lovett School, an independent, coeducational college preparatory school serving students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 in Atlanta, GA., is seeking candidates for the position of Middle School Librarian. Responsibilities include instructing and assisting Middle School faculty and students, grades 6 – 8, in their use of the library and its wide variety of resources, and working on collection development.

Competitive candidates must have:
• A high degree of comfort using technology
• A significant working knowledge of young adult literature
• An ALA-accredited Master’s degree in Library Science

Preference with be given to candidates with at least 3 years of middle school experience.
Salary will be competitive based on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.
