OCLC is looking for a eResources Implementation Manager to make an impact on libraries around the world from our Dublin, Ohio headquarters. This position will primarily participate in the development, roll-out, and effective use assessment of WorldCat knowledge base implementations.
This involves:
* Development of implementation program materials
* Conducting customer implementations
* Defining and measuring success of implementationsThis position may also participate in other OCLC product implementations.
- Directly responsible for working with libraries to determine their implementation needs, review workflow alternatives, create implementation schedules and conduct training as needed.
- Directly responsible for development of processes and materials that support implementation services for WorldCat knowledge base and other OCLC products. - Materials may include project management related tools/templates, user configuration instructions, workflow analysis templates, training materials, communication plans and success measurement materials.
- Defining and measuring the success of individual implementations of the WorldCat knowledge base.
- Working with OCLC Product Management team to identify enhancements important to libraries and their patrons.
- Working with OCLC Product Management, Development, Training, and Information Development staff to ensure that our implementation process is scalable
- Provide pre-sales support to sales and marketing staff by assisting with the development of proposals and the development of marketing collateral as needed.
- Provide ongoing quality and customer satisfaction review of implementation services and identify necessary changes to program materials, processes and training.
- Bachelor's degree in a liberal arts related field
- Experience managing e-resources either in libraries or on behalf of libraries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, including creating schedules, identifying success metrics, and developing end-user facing support materials
- Strong verbal communication and team building skills.
- Must have excellent written communication skills and ability to clearly summarize, document and communicate complex needs and results.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of personnel including Product Management, Product Development, Library Staff and other Implementation Program Managers.
- Must have excellent analytic, process and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a results-oriented team
