We are seeking qualified applicants for the full time position with benefits of Librarian II for the Library Department. This position will:

• Maintain current data for all print, microform and electronic serials records.
• Collaborate with library staff in the development of new resources, particularly in the Integrated Library System.
• Perform original and copy cataloging of all formats.
• Create guidelines for and manage the distribution of discarded materials.
• Supervise the maintenance of updated manuals of policies and procedures.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of developing technologies, bibliographic resources and tools as appropriate to library operations.
• Maintain the quality and accuracy of bibliographic and related records in the Integrated Library System (ILS) through updates, corrections, and authority control.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures to receive, organize, and provide access to library resources, particularly in the Integrated Library System.
• Meet with catalogers to create standards of quality and uniformity and to solve problems affecting the operation of the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master of Library Science or equivalent degree from an American Library Association accredited University or College.  6 years of experience in an academic library setting including 1 year of supervisory experience.

SALARY:    $40,000 annually

HOURS:     Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
