Holman Library at Green River Community College is seeking an experienced instruction and reference librarian with a strong commitment to information literacy and to serving the information and research needs of a diverse student population. Holman Library's rapidly growing information literacy program is bolstered by faculty support, robust collections with secure funding sources, and institutional support for expansion. The successful candidate will collaborate with classroom faculty to develop information literacy instruction with meaningful assesments and to integrate information literacy into campus wide learning outcomes. Holman Library encourages the growth and professional development of its librarians by supporting attendance at workshops, conferences, and institutes.
The faculty librarian reports to the Director of Library and Media Services and is a member of the Humanities Division. This assignment is on the main campus in Auburn, WA.

This is a full-time tenure track position beginning at the start of the Fall Quarter, September 2013. All candidates are subject to a background check as a condition of employment.
SALARY:
This is a full-time, 9 month, tenure track position . The salary will be determined according to applicant's educational background, teaching experience, and applicable work experience. GRCC is an agency shop.
