I just finished my degree at Wayne State. I have no basis for comparison with other programs, but overall I enjoyed it and felt that it did a good job preparing me for a position. The faculty pretty much all have some library experience, save a few technology instructors that I can think of. Some faculty are better at instruction than others, though I would imagine this is the case in any academic program. I had several courses taught by adjunct faculty, and they were also hit or miss. One was one of the best instructors I had, and another was the worst. Again, this is true of pretty much any program. I'm not sure what other kind of information you're looking for, but as I said, I felt it as a pretty good program. One small note: Since you're considering the online program, I imagine you're not in MI. Just make sure to research the job openings well, especially if you want to stay where you currently live, and if you're not already working in a library and have the opportunity to do so, try that first. I am tied to MI for the moment because of my husband's job and somewhat regret doing the program at this time, as the market here doesn't have many opportunities.
