Hello,

Does anyone have an idea of how much the starting pay is for a school librarian in NC? Or can someone point me in the direction of this information.

Thanks!!!

Try contacting the state library at http://statelibrary.dcr.state.nc.us/
They should have standards listed somewhere---or the statistics. Hope this helps.

Hi,

You need to actually look up the counties where you want to work and the salary scales are on the individual county sites. Salaries are fairly consistent, but county supplements usually vary. I looked at moving to NC two years ago and most counties were offering 45-48,000 for my 10 years of teaching experience with a master's degree.

Hope this helps.
