Early Daffodils
Early Daffodils

Speaking of global warming… did you know you could get free copies of Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth on DVD? Grab one for you or your library.

Nanette:
I’ve been monitoring my tulips and daffodils and crocuses, and I’m shocked that none of them have peeked up yet, especially the crocuses. It’s been early spring-ish down in central Illinois for most of the winter, except for one week in December where it was nasty-cold.
Of course, now I’m worried that none of them are going to come up and that I planted them wrong or too late or got old bulbs or something like that. We’ll see.

That seems widely variable. I live maybe 5 miles from Rachel … no early daffodils that I know of.

I was feeling like such a loser because I didn’t get any bulbs planted in my new yard this fall. Now I’m thinking it’s probably a good thing.

We have the same problem here in Georgia! All around my office building the daffodils and crocuses have jumped out of bed early
