Ch-ch-changes
Last week I got my shiny new Dell set up (it was past time!), which means I’ve spent the past few days cursing the new menus in Microsoft Word 2007 and figuring out just where Vista PUTS things. Today, I got this blog updated to Wordpress 2.5. Oh look, everything’s moved around here, too. (Yes, this post is in large part just to have an excuse to play with the new “write post” interface and make sure everything seems to work.) It’s not the change itself that’s driving me nuts; it’s that having to stop and think about the interfaces is slowing me down. Perhaps I should be thankful to my technology for the enforced mono-tasking, but…

I have had a shiny new Dell laptop with Vista and 2007 for about a month now and am starting to get back to full speed. I have to admit that I like many of the changes.

JanieH – I actually do too! I can see where they’re going w/ Word etc., and that the menus are faster once I start unlearning old habits. It’s just me that’s slow
