   I am a friend of your Moms.

   Was sorry to hear about your beloved Cat Max, but he will have a new friend named Loomis. Loomis was my 9 year old cat who passed on last July, I still miss him very much. I was given a 3 year old, black with green eyes persian named Duncan within a week of loosing Loomis. Duncan has been good for me.

   Oh, Rachel,

   So sorry about the loss of Max, a wonderful cat that I knew for as long as I’ve known you. He had the most soft fur, it was amazing. Such beautiful blue eyes as well. And I was always amazed at how wonderful he was with first Jake and then Sam. I know our cats would never have been so hug-able.

   I’ll miss him too.
