I even remember trying a few of the tricks in it. When I was a kid, I read anything and everything I could get my hands on, including cereal boxes and the jokes in my dad's carpenter's union magazine. I was blessed to live in a family that valued reading and a house where you could sit down in any chair and find something to read at hand.
