		<description>This cuts both ways ... it&#039;s hard &lt;i&gt;not&lt;/i&gt; to adopt technologies if there&#039;s a public that would appreciate the library having it.  Hence downloadable audibooks.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;We recently asked our public about the library getting BluRay or HD-DVD formats and heard a loud and clear &quot;not yet.&quot;  So we&#039;ll wait.  Besides, there&#039;s some tech-buzz about both of these being orphans already ... supposedly replaced by flashdrives.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;(And there &lt;i&gt;are&lt;/i&gt; SD card audiobooks on the market.)&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I don&#039;t suppose there&#039;s one answer.  All we can do is scratch the itches we see.</description>
